{Newbies}: the beginnings of marriage

Today marks our 6 week anniversary since being married in the LDS temple for time and all eternity. So in other words, we are total newbies!
But in the first month and a half of marriage this is what I've learned:

-That praying together and eating together are what makes us a family rather than roommates.

- The privilege of drinking straight from the OJ carton is a small window in life. it only happened after I moved out the house and is slowly stopping since I have been married. (brian isn't a big fan). enjoy it while you can!

- Spray paint can cure most home decor problems. (I love being able to buy and decorate things for our house)!

-Date night is important and it doesn't have to be on Friday nights. Otherwise it's too easy to become all work and no play.

-Don't forget to put the blade in the blender...I caught on to that one real quick.

-I never knew I could take up so much space on a queen size bed...sorry Brian.

-Try new recipes from new cookbooks at your own risk..'nuf said.

-Marriage is harder than people will tell you, but better than I thought too.  I don't want to be one of those people that lies and says everything is always perfect...because it's not. But what's important is how you work through it.
